Hello Hants County, THE 6th ANNUAL STUFF A TRUCK for the West Hants Food Bank – Matthew 25 is only a couple of months away… In the last 5 years, this community has raised over $53000 dollars with last year being our biggest, raising almost $10,000.00 in food and cash donations. This year we hope it will be bigger and better. This event has become one of the main contributors to our Food Bank keeping stock on their shelves, especially as the government is making it more difficult to keep shelters and food donation center doors open.

On Saturday, September 5th, from 8am to 5:30pm we will be parking a 20 ft U-Haul Truck at the Windsor Atlantic Superstore so that we can stuff the truck with food for our local food bank.
This is such a timely event as it helps families with back-to-school and upcoming Thanksgiving needs, as well as taking them into after Christmas with school snack needs…

❗️Prizes will be drawn ❗️

📍If you donate $100 or more of food or cash donation 5 ballots will be entered for a prize

📍If you donate $50 or more of food or cash donation 3 ballots will be entered for a prize

📍If you donate $20 or more of food or cash donation 2 ballots will be entered for a prize

📍If you donate anything less you will still get your name put into the draw for a prize

Here’s how you can help

📌 Start your shopping ahead of time to drop it off at the truck on September 5th

📌 Sign up to help on Saturday for an hour to either hand out flyers or load up the truck or show up at the Food Bank to unload at 5:30pm. You can sign up at info@gladtidingsworshipcenter.ca with your full name and phone number, confirming how you can help and what time…

📌 Businesses, please consider a prize you can donate for the event. This year, we are hoping to have a couple of great grand prizes. Pastor Maria will be reaching out in August

📌 Great thanks to for hosting this event again and thank you to U-Haul for providing the truck on the busiest weekend of the year.
