SUMMARY:6th Annual Stuff a Truck Event
DESCRIPTION:Hello Hants County\, THE 6th ANNUAL STUFF A TRUCK for the West Hants Food Bank – Matthew 25 is only a couple of months away… In the last 5 years\, this community has raised over $53000 dollars with last year being our biggest\, raising almost $10\,000.00 in food and cash donations. This year we hope it will be bigger and better. This event has become one of the main contributors to our Food Bank keeping stock on their shelves\, especially as the government is making it more difficult to keep shelters and food donation center doors open. \nOn Saturday\, September 5th\, from 8am to 5:30pm we will be parking a 20 ft U-Haul Truck at the Windsor Atlantic Superstore so that we can stuff the truck with food for our local food bank.\nThis is such a timely event as it helps families with back-to-school and upcoming Thanksgiving needs\, as well as taking them into after Christmas with school snack needs… \n❗️Prizes will be drawn ❗️ \n📍If you donate $100 or more of food or cash donation 5 ballots will be entered for a prize \n📍If you donate $50 or more of food or cash donation 3 ballots will be entered for a prize \n📍If you donate $20 or more of food or cash donation 2 ballots will be entered for a prize \n📍If you donate anything less you will still get your name put into the draw for a prize \nHere’s how you can help \n📌 Start your shopping ahead of time to drop it off at the truck on September 5th \n📌 Sign up to help on Saturday for an hour to either hand out flyers or load up the truck or show up at the Food Bank to unload at 5:30pm. You can sign up at info@gladtidingsworshipcenter.ca with your full name and phone number\, confirming how you can help and what time… \n📌 Businesses\, please consider a prize you can donate for the event. This year\, we are hoping to have a couple of great grand prizes. DESCRIPTION:Our walk with Jesus requires us to surrender to Jesus. Fasting and prayer were part of Jesus’ life as He lived in His intimacy with Father. Fasting and prayer restores and strengthens intimacy and passion for God. It also helps us to hear from Him. Most importantly fasting and praying is a way for us to humble ourselves in the sight of God relinquishing our will and obeying His.(Psalm 35:13; Ezra 8:21). King David said\, “I humbled my soul with fasting” (Psalm 69:10).\n\nAs we look to 2026 in Making Room for More\, let’s remember that this year\, the more we desire\, is Jesus. More intimacy with Him is everything. We invite Him in to get rid of all that is taking up space in our lives\, body\, mind soul and spirit so that we can lean in and let Him cleanse us\, heal us and occupy our lives making Him and the Kingdom our our priority and passion. This is so important as we come to serve Him and be used by Him to advance the Kingdom\, because the Kingdom is Christ and He is who should have all eminence in us…\n\nAs we come into this new season with joy and anticipation\, let’s remember the key scriptures that should be on our hearts this year: Joel 2:12-13\, Joel 2: 25\, Matthew 6:33\, and Revelation 3:20\n\n\n\n           Download QR
