Dear Daughters ….

I was preparing for our 2026 Daughters Arise Conference having put our Speaker and Worship Team in place in late last summer . As fall came and I sought the Lord to give me our vision for 2026 at Glad Tidings and what our focus should be even for conference the words “Make Room for More of Me” kept sweeping through my heart and ears ….

First, I was confused as we just finished a year of Pressing in for More… how could that be different and yet it is…pressing in for more is a proactive, often intense pursuit to draw closer to God (like the woman with the issue of blood), while making room is an intentional, often passive act of surrender, removing “clutter” (priorities, sins, distractions) to allow Jesus more space to dwell within and speak clearly to us that we may respond in obedience and yet just to sit as His feet and love Him more. This is when the Lord put two specific verses on my heart with two specific visions.

First the Lord laid Rev. 3:20 upon my heart. “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Jesus is calling His Church, His bride to an intimate time of repentance and letting go of everything that has hindered a deeper to know and be known by Him moment. He is drawing us near to new encounters and divine moments with Him. Second the scripture of Matthew 12: 43-48. This is when the Lord gave me a vision of the body of Christ sitting in rooms so cluttered that the Spirit would have to pour in between where room was available yet in an instant a window blew open and the room was made clean and the Lord filled the room in place of everything else… This was where I began to sense the Lord wanted even us as a church to lay everything down in 2026 so that we could focus on Him alone… It was here also that the Lord reminded me that as I come into year six at GT, I will now enter my seventh year, and this is where the land needs to rest especially as we come into our Jubilee Year in 2027. “The Lord said to Moses at Mount Sinai, “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the Lord. For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and gather their crops. But in the seventh year the land is to have a year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the Lord. For the last six years we planted in prayer and events as the Lord led us to sow seed and pray that we would reap holy and great things in the name of Jesus.  Now over 2026 we are obeying the Lord to lay everything down and trust Him as He promised that “He will do much with our little”, as we prepare for our Jubilee Year of Blessing – 50yrs in our current location and 85th year with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. We are believing for great and powerful things that the Lord will do at Glad Tidings and for Nova Scotia as we wait upon the Lord to see His glory come in the land of the living (Jeremiah 33:3, Psalm 27:14) We still stand on our scripture of Psalm 126 that with the tears that have been shed, it will be like a dream and in an instant the Lord will bring a harvest and we as His Church across this province will rejoice bringing in the sheaves of the harvest He promised..

WE CAN’T WAIT TO CELEBRATE WITH YOU IN 2027!

In the meantime, Dear Beautiful Sisters and Daughters of the King… Make Room for More… and pray with us for a mighty move of God in Nova Scotia and our Nation…

To Him who is able and God willing, see you Next Year….

Love you all….
