As Lead Pastor, Maria doesn’t just lead the church, she lives being the church.

Over the years, she has served in just about every capacity imaginable from leading and serving in Prison Ministry, ministering at the altar, praying for healing and deliverance, leading worship, and helping people encounter the presence of God, even in her community and on the street she lived on. Yet she’s even willing to do the very practical work of cleaning toilets since in the Kingdom of God, no job is beneath us when it’s done for Jesus!

Her passion is simple: to serve Jesus and see His Church become all that He has called her to be. She longs to see the Body of Christ rise up, walk in the fullness of the Great Commission, make disciples, carry the Gospel to the world, living with an eternal perspective.

Her heart is to see the Bride of Christ prepared, passionate, holy, and ready for the return of Jesus. She believes the Church is not meant to simply occupy a seat on Sunday, but to encounter God, grow in His Word, serve His purposes, and become a living expression of Jesus wherever He sends us.

She loves preaching the Word, worshipping Jesus, praying for people, seeing lives transformed, and watching ordinary people discover that God has an extraordinary purpose for their lives.

And after a lifetime of serving Jesus on earth, she has one more thing she’s looking forward to…
